We’re celebrating Black Excellence every Sunday of Black History Month. Join us as we celebrate Excellence in Academics, Relationships, Faith and Community. February 4th is HBCU Sunday, please wear paraphernalia from your favorite Historically Black College or University. February 11th is Marriage Sunday – we’ll have a Marriage Blessing Ceremony for married couples who would like to renew their vows and a Multi-wedding Ceremony for engaged couples. February 18th is Heritage Sunday. Please feel free to wear your church hats and Sunday Best. We will also celebrate our Seasoned Treasures ages 65 and older with a reception in the gym after both services. February 25th is Organization Sunday. Represent your membership in Historically Black Organizations, including the Divine 9 Fraternities & Sororities, NAACP, UNCF, Jack & Jill, Links, or Professional Organizations.On February 4th and 11th , visit the Children’s Check In Desk to register your child for a chance to have Lunch with Pastor Mike. Pastor Mike will draw three names and visit them at their schools to share a lunch of their choice. Children must be Pre-K through 5th grade to participate.
