Baptism

Provide training and preparation for the ordinance of baptism to candidates on a regular schedule.

Mission Statement / Purpose
To ensure that the baptism pool and area are accessible and safe for the performance of the ceremony. Ensure a comfortable environment for the candidates and any accompanying family member.

What to expect
Participation in the preparation of one of the most important ordinances administered in the church body. Training to perform the duties outlined for volunteers. Performance of the ordinance multiple times during the month.

Areas for Volunteer Participation
Baptism Ministry Leader – coordinator of administrative duties and responsibilities; coordinates schedule for Baptism Workers
Baptism Workers – assist with the duties required for performance of the Baptism Ordinance.

Drama Ministry

Mission Statement/ Purpose

To offer Christian based dramatizations through the medium of plays, storytelling, musicals and dance. While providing a medium for developing skills in public speaking, costume, set design and construction, audio/visual and technical design execution.

What to expect

A minimum of three productions per calendar year. At least one children’s production and opportunities for periodically skits. Rehearsal schedule is generally over a period of six weeks leading to the production.

Areas for Volunteer Participation

Writers – creative and original dramas and literature for performance

Directors – persons with previous theatre directing experience on any level

Actors – children and adults

Choreographers – trained skills and experience

Dancers – with trained skills or willing to receive training

Singers – not required to be a choir member

Acting Coaches – persons with speech and diction training, experience and character development training

Costume Designers and Seamstress – skills in constructing garments, alterations and costume design

Set Design and Construction – skills in carpentry, painting and set design


Girls in Action

Mission Statement/Purpose
Girls in Action® (GA®) is a WMU® missions organization for girls who are age 6-11 or in grades 1-6. GA can help girls in your church begin to develop spiritually towards a missions lifestyle as they learn what God is doing in the world and discover their place in God’s plan. The purpose of GA is summed up in the GA Pledge, Motto, GA Scripture Verse, and GA Lifestyle Verse.

GA Scripture Verse: “Give thanks to the Lord. Worship him. Tell the nations what he has done. Announce how honored he is” (Isaiah 12:4 NIrV).
GA Lifestyle Verse: “The Lord has shown you what is good. He has told you what he requires of you. You must treat people fairly. You must love others faithfully. And you must be very careful to live the way your God wants you to” (Micah 6:8 NIrV).
GA Motto: “Go Forward!”
GA Pledge: “As a GA, I will do my best to live a missions lifestyle that honors God by learning about missions, praying for missions, giving to missions, doing missions and participating in the work of the church.”

What to expect
All members and leaders of Girls in Action are expected to learn about missions, pray for missions, give to missions, do missions and participate in the work of the church. Meetings on a standard Wednesday evening schedule. Participation in special projects or planned programs

Areas for volunteer participation
Girls in Action Coordinator – performs administrative duties and responsibilities. Develop lesson plans and coordinate missions.
Girls in Action Leaders -assists with the duties required for carrying out missions and teaching the lessons.


Greeters

Mission Statement/Purpose
To offer a friendly and courteous welcome to worshipers as they enter the sanctuary to participate in the Worship Center. To assist visitor with questions about Fallbrook children church or inspiration classes. To provide follow up on requested information to visitors.
What to expect
Participation with a group of Christians dedicated and committed to serve as greeters during Sunday worship services and Wednesday evening Bible Study and other special church programs.

Areas for Volunteer Participation
Greeters – Male and female to serve at points of entrance. Preparation and distribution of visitor gift bags.

Music Ministry

Mission Statement/ Purpose

To be an example of true worship and praise, as exemplified in scripture. To be effective ministers, using our voices and instruments to the best of our ability, being sensitive to the Holy Spirit. To set the atmosphere of the service for fruitful receptivity to the Word of God and to edify the saints and reach the lost with our ministry of arts.

What to expect

Opportunity to participate in your choice of a variety of musical performance groups that provide music during the worship service. Fellowship with a group of dedicated and committed choir members and musicians. An opportunity to use your vocal and instrumental gifts to your fullest potential. Options of performing with the Praise Team, Adult Choir, Men’s Choir, Women’s 5th Sunday choir and Children’s Choir. Opportunities to participate in planned special events to include concerts, musicals and holiday programs.

Musicians – Instrumentalist – little or no training is required


Sound/Audio Ministry

To assist in the delivery of the worship services and other services as needed through audio and visual aids.

To assist in the delivery of the worship and other services as needed through audio and visual aids. To reach the greater community by distributing media.

What to expect
Operation of audio and visual equipment during Sunday services and special events Duplication and distribution of media. Display of visual aids as needed for all services and events

Transportation Ministry

Mission Statement/Purpose:
To provide safe transport of passengers to and from the remote parking lot during the Sunday morning worship services. To provide transportation for church related activities that is scheduled through the appropriate scheduling process. To provide transportation on an as needed basis for members who are unable to access other means of transportation.
What to expect
An interview process with designated ministry coordinator. A preplanned schedule to be assigned one shift twice per month. Your cooperation to ensure cleanliness of the vehicles and fueling when requested.

Drivers – operate assigned vehicles as scheduled
Driver Assistants – assist with loading and unloading passengers


Usher Ministry

Mission Statement / Purpose
To serve as doorkeepers in the church for all worship services ensureing a friendly Christ like welcome to congregation members and to place a special emphasis on our visitors.
What to expect
Participation with a group of Christians dedicated and committed to serve as doorkeepers. The opportunity to perform the duties during the Sunday worship services, Wednesday evening Bible Study and special church programs. The opportunity to fellowship with the members of this ministry through Bible study, special planned projects and during worship services. Monthly meetings for planning. Training to perform the duties from established ministry members.
