Welcome to Fallbrook Church

HISTORY

Located in north Houston, Fallbrook Church is led by our Founding and Senior Pastor Michael A. Pender, Sr.

We reach the community one home at a time, while changing the way people see church forever.

Our first public service took place at Gray Elementary School in September 1994, and we went on to worship and fellowship in individual homes, an office space, and a co-leased church until we closed on 6.14 acres of land on Walters Road. We opened our first building, the Auxiliary Building, in late 2001, followed by  our second building, the Community Center, in August 2004. On Easter Sunday 2009, we opened our third building, the Worship Center, which provides a 2,500 seat worship center, double gym, bookstore, café and space for meetings and trainings, conferences, classes, camps, sporting events and more. In need of more space for classrooms and activities, we opened our fourth building, the Children and Youth Building, in December 2013. This 3-story, 82,000 square foot facility, offers 30 classrooms, 24 offices, a gym, a full service kitchen and concession area, an indoor play area and 3 custom-made aquariums.

Our church currently houses a K-12 charter school, and a before-and-after-school program and daycare.

We serve over 10,000 members, and more than 3,500 individuals have accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior and were baptized.

What about my children?
We have an exciting Children’s Ministry for infants – 6th Grade.

Our little ones (infant to 3 years old) will enjoy interactive games and Bible stories told by our caring staff in the Early Childhood wing of the Children and Youth Building.

Children (4 years old to 6th grade) are encouraged to worship with peers in Children’s Church located on the second floor of our Children and Youth Building. There they will experience a spirit-filled worship services designed just for their age.

Youth, grades 7 through 12 are encouraged to join us in the Main Worship Center at our 8 a.m. service and Bible Study at the 11:00 a.m. hour.

Will I have a chance to meet the Pastor?

Pastor Mike looks forward to meeting visitors and spending time with members after each service. He is usually available at the front of the church immediately following service to receive guests and members, as well as speak with those who have questions about the church or the message of the morning.

Need More Information?
On Sunday mornings, our Deacons, Ushers, and church members are always on hand to talk with you and answer any questions you might have about our church. You may also contact the church office Monday through Friday between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.

What can I expect when I visit?
Our Sunday services at 8:00 am and 11:00 am are infused with contemporary, traditional, and urban Gospel. Our Sunday services meet in our main Worship Center where we sing songs of praise, pray corporately, spend time greeting one another, and receive the Word of God.

When you visit us on the first Sunday of the month, you can expect Holy Communion to be served. All who are believers are invited to participate in this holy sacrament. Communion is also served on the third Wednesday night of every month.

As a visitor, will I have to say anything or be singled out?
You will not be asked to say anything or introduce yourself as a visitor. As our way of welcoming you, we do ask all of our First Time Visitors to stand so that we may greet you.

You will be given a guest information card to fill out if you would like more information about our church. If you prefer not to stand though, that is fine, too. We do not want you to do anything that would make you feel uncomfortable.

If I need prayer, will Fallbrook Church pray for me?
If you are in need of prayer, please feel free to come forward during the invitation at the conclusion of service. We would love to pray for you.

You can also submit your prayer requests on the back of the guest information card or through the Prayer Request link. Your request will be forwarded to one of our ministry leaders.

Will I be asked to give an offering?

As a guest you are welcome, but not expected, to make an offering. The Tithes and Offerings portion of our service is a time of celebration at Fallbrook. Our members are excited to give as part of their com
