Receptionist Job Description (Full Time):
A friendly, professional, organized, and customer-focused Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our organization. The ideal candidate handles front desk responsibilities with professionalism and provide exceptional support to visitors, clients, and staff.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Key Responsibilities
•Greet and welcome visitors in a warm, professional manner
•Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls
•Manage the front desk area, ensuring it remains clean, organized, and presentable
•Handle incoming and outgoing mail, deliveries, and packages. Must be able to move light packages
•Schedule appointments and maintain calendars as needed
•Log crisis reports and disseminates information to necessary departments
•Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and document preparation
•Provide accurate information to visitors and respond to inquiries
•De-escalate and engage with difficult patrons in a professional manner
•Coordinate with internal departments to support daily operations
•Follow security procedures for visitors and maintain visitor logs
Qualifications
•Associate’s degree or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
•Proven experience as a receptionist, front desk representative, or similar role
•Strong communication and interpersonal skills
•Proficiency with office software (Microsoft Office, email platforms, scheduling tools)
•Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
•Professional appearance and positive attitude
•Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
Working Conditions
•On-site role with consistent interaction with visitors and staff
•May involve occasional administrative projects or support tasks
